A lot has been happening this summer with The Children's Giving Project!  We delivered our donation to the North Park Village Nature Center this past month and received quite a nice letter back (see above!!!) We have been  inspired to do more lemonade stands for them!  Thanks to all who stopped by to give their donations and to Luis, Margot, Aaron, Lukas and Sonja for helping out with the running of the stand.

We will hopefully be hearing from The Nature Center soon about helping them out with a planting of their parkway.  If you are interested you can email me!

On June 23rd, we raised $355 for The Greater Chicago Food Depository when we participated in the 27th Annual Hunger Walk.  We will definitely be doing it again.  It was our first time of many we hope!  Thanks to Jennifer, Monique, Clara, Zack and Claire for walking with us.  It was a beautiful day and all the people there were very inspiring!

We hope to have another  CGP Lemonade Stand on July 15th.  There will be more information soon about the lemonade stand!!!

The Giving Project's Lemonade Stand

The Children's Giving Project will be hosting their lemonade stand this Sunday, May 6th  from 10am -2pm on the corners of Glenwood and Farwell Avenue.  Please stop by, grab a lemonade, brownies, cookies and fresh water for your pups.  All proceeds go to North Park Nature Center (http://www.chicagoparkdistrict.com/parks/North-Park-Village-Nature-Center/) and Heifer International (http://www.heifer.org/)
